Playoff Format
Playoff Composition: Upon the completion of the regular season, seven (7) teams will advance to the postseason, with the first overall team receiving the bye into the semifinals.
Tiebreakers: Any ties at the conclusion of the regular season will be resolved according to the Tiebreakers outlined in the Football Operations. If, at the end of the regular season, two (2) or more teams finish with identical records, the first tiebreaker will be record in head‐to‐head competition, if all teams involved in the tie have played each other at least once
Format: Postseason matchups will take place in the following format:
Quarterfinals: October 31, 2026
No. 7 at No. 2
No. 6 at No. 3
No. 5 at No. 4
Bye – No. 1
Semifinals: November 7, 2026
Lowest remaining seed at No.1
Remaining teams (hosted by highest seed)
Yates Cup: November 14, 2026
The two (2) semifinal winners will play at the highest remaining seed for the championship. The Yates Cup champions shall proceed to a U SPORTS semifinal Bowl Game.
